How was everyone’s weekend!? I took Thursday and Friday off last week from work and it was amazing! I was going months without a day off and work was getting very hectic that it pushed me to take a couple days off. This also meant taking some time off from my blog. Instead of posting three times a week, which can be a bit draining as I do work full-time professionally, I am going to try something different and post 1-2 times a week. I want to give you guys the best of the best and I do believe quality is much more important than quantity. Anyways I am back and I can’t wait to share this fun post with you today!

Fourth of July is right around the corner and I couldn’t help myself but to create a fashion mood board of inspiration for you guys! I just love Fourth of July and it was always special to me because it was also my grandmother’s birthday. When she was alive, the entire family would get together and have a bbq as a way to spend time with her and celebrate. I love being able to dress up for Fourth of July without looking overly patriotic. This board shows you how how to look festive for the holiday without looking like you’ve tried too hard. It’s all effortlessly easy fashion that anyone can pull off.

Here are my favorites from this board and how I would style them:

  • #9, dresses are so easy to pull off. I love how this is red with the white stripes and ties around your waist. Best of all this dress has pockets! I would tie my hair back, put in some diamond studded earrings and my favorite flip flops for a perfectly easy effortless and comfortable look! I would also throw in #11 which is so cute and perfect for this summer season! At $19 on Amazon you can’t beat the price!

  • #3, this white dress would look super cute with #14 sandals. You can add some fun patriotic jewelry like a pair of earrings and fun bracelets to accessorize this white dress.

  • #6, mom shorts are 100% in this year. If you’re hangin’ poolside or at the beach pair the shorts with #5 or #7 bathing suits. You can even throw over a fun patriotic tee (#2) either before or after you swim session. If you wanna tie your hair back, I found these super cute patriotic scrunchies #12.

  • #8, who doesn’t love a classic chambray tee?! I think it says American all over it. It’s so perfect for the Summer season and you can easily pair it with a pair of white skinny jeans or white shorts. A chambray shirt is a must-have item for any wardrobe.
