This year I am breaking Thanksgiving tradition and I am having a Vegan Thanksgiving. Dave and I have dabbled in veganism off and on the last couple of years. After our trip to Italy, we decided to go back to being vegan. Dave has lost over 30 pounds and couldn’t be happier so this year we are doing a vegan Thanksgiving. Below are the recipes I have tried and tested a couple of times. They are so easy to make and delicious that I had to share them with you! I can’t wait next week to eat all of this delicious food that just so happens to be plant-based!
I have not tried this but I love most of the Gardein products including the Turk’y Cutlet. I have heard many good things about this and I cannot wait to try it!
I go right by the recipe; however, I do add a ½ cup of warm almond milk to the recipe. I gradually add it in as I am mashing the potatoes. I also skip the garlic for Thanksgiving dinner because I pair the potatoes with Mushroom Gravy!
I skip the cauliflower mash and use this recipe strictly for the mushroom gravy recipe. I use Baby Bella Mushrooms!
Can I just say that this is my FAVORITE VEGAN RECIPE EVER! I made this twice and it was so easy to make and so delicious! Instead of buying Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup, this recipe allows you to make your own. It’s much cleaner and of course dairy free!
I’ve made this Sweet Potato Casserole for the last 2 years and it’s become a Thanksgiving tradition! I know similar recipes require eggs but this one does not and is much more cleaner and healthier. It tastes the exact same way.
In the past, I bought the boxed stuffing but why do that when you can make your own? This is easy and uses simple ingredients.
In the past, I’ve bought the Pillsbury biscuits with all the chemicals. This recipe has fewer ingredients so it’s automatically healthier and you can prepare the night before. Day of just pop in the oven, easy-peasy!
